Versal Boot Status Indicator (LED1)
LED1 shows whether the Versal device has completed its booting process. It turns on when boot completes successfully.
In Versal terms, LED1 indicates the status of the DONE signal. It
turns on when DONE is asserted.
Versal Error Status Indicator (LED2)
LED2 shows whether an error has occurred in the Versal device. It turns on when the device enters an error state.
In Versal terms, LED2 indicates the status of the ERROR_OUT
signal. It turns on when ERROR_OUT is asserted.
1Gbps Ethernet Link Status Indicator (LED3)
LED3 shows whether a 1Gbps Ethernet link is established on CON10. It turns on when a 1Gbps Ethernet link is established. It remains off for 10Mbps and 100Mbps connections.
More specifically, LED3 indicates the status of the PHY LED_1
signal. It turns on when the Ethernet PHY asserts PHY_LED1.
FMC Module Power Supply Indicator (LED4)
LED4 shows whether the FMC module reports that its required power rails are ready. It turns on when the FMC module is in a power-good state.
In FMC terms, LED4 indicates the status of the PG_C2M signal from
the FMC module on CON11. It turns on when PG_C2M is asserted and
VDD_3V3_FMC is asserted.
Dev Board Main Power Supply Indicator (LED5)
LED5 shows whether the main power chain of the development board is complete. It turns on when main power is supplied normally from CON16 or CON20.
LED5 turns off when SW4 is moved to the OFF side.
More specifically, LED5 is connected to the 12V0C power rail after the main power switch and the MP5016HGQH-Z overcurrent protection circuit. It therefore turns off when the power switch is off or when overcurrent protection is triggered.
